How to file the tax return???non resident?or resident?will it af

Hi da xia men!
I was working under my OPT 2008..so I don't need to pay SSN Tax at that time..now I will have my greencard interview next month..(marriage grrencard) when I filed my tax return for 2008 last week, I claimed as resident..because the tax person told me I will get the GC soon so its ok to report it as resident...but I am still worried..since I was non resident when i was working last year..is there any problem about it? or if there is, how can I make it up???? Thank you a lot!!!
