緊急求助-OPT邀請父母探親,是否讓簽證官知道自己在OPT?

Currently holding a tenure-track faculty position. Should I reveal this or try to hide this? My home school has issued an invitation letter but the OIS suggested me to ask the employer (school where I am teaching) to write a letter to indicate availability of support (i.e. income). Is it a good idea or not? Do I have to write another invitation letter, and if so, again, should I reveal I am in OPT and is having a faculty job? Thank you very much for your any kind response!!!!!
