return using her valid GC and prepare to answer why she stayed outside of US for so long.
If CBP accept her explanation, she enters as other LPR. If not, she'll go to second inspection and another CBP officer/supervisor decides again, worse case is that her GC is taken away and she is admitted but will need to appear before a judge to plea her case later.
