I called the customer center several weeks after the primary's application had been approved, a nice representative volunteered to put through a service request for me after learning that we had been waiting quite long. One month later, a letter notified me that interview was scheduled, and the day of the interview at the local center, fingerprints were taken. My file was disconnected from the primary.

So, call the customer service about your concern. It might have been forgotten somewhere.
