pjiang, why I have to do biometrics after my 485 already approve

EB1A, I140 approved in 2003
Fingerprinting twice in 2005 and June 2008
I485 approved in Oct 2008, but no card received
Call customer services, told to wait
4 days ago, got a notice from SRC saying a biometrics notice will be sent to me...
So I am confused, why I have to do biometrics again after my I485 was approved and fingerprinting was done only 7 months ago? Can I contest it and demand card to be sent?
