-Yes, you have a 30-day grace period. But this period is just for you to prepare for leaving U.S. and you can not change the status within U.S. in this period, but you can go outside of U.S. to get a visa for your new status such as H1 visa for H1 status, F-1 visa for F-1 status, etc. So, it is not a big deal.
