Just went to CIS NYC Office

last week. Went to the 8th fl. Met the same people, as always they were very rude. Basically what they told me was that they've transferred the file to Vermont and it's not their business anymore. They even refused to re-stamp my passport because "the file is no longer here". They said they would restamp only if I show them some response from Vermont. I told them that the reason I was there was because Vermont didn't reply to my inquiry. "Then keep trying" that's all they told me... Gosh, don't mention those local INS people, every time I went there I almost got heartattack...
