Question on parents GC application

To all the teachers and friends,

I just became a citizen lately, and planning to apply GC for my Mom, who is living in the states. My Dad is living in China. If I applied for my Mom first, would it be difficult for my Dad to apply later? or should I file I-130 w/I -864 for my Mom and my Dad at the same time?

Please advise. Thanks a lot!
