----老EB2, 雖PD還不到,準備WOM了. 排期一到,立即遞WOM.我有以下問題向大家請教:

1.我EB2已有律師,但他很軟,我不想雇他WOM.請問我WOM的話,可以請別的律師嗎? 律師必須和我在一個洲嗎? 會有什麽負麵影響嗎?

yes, most of immigrant lawyer has no lawsuit experience, and you should use those with experience. lawyers should be from the in-state for two reasons: 1. out-of-state lawyer need get permit from court to take your case (means extra cost for you). 2. in worst case, you may need hearing(even 95% cases solved without hearing), you need pay extra for their travel.

another option is to file as pro se (file lawsuit without lawyer, you can learn lots for of information for similar information, 詳細情況見這裏
