1）屆時需否提出申請延長I-94 居留日期
-Because you were laid off, your status is AOS now. If you do not want to change your status to another status such as H4 or H1 (if you find a new job), you do not need to do anything. I-94 (duration) is useless to AOS, so do not worry about that. If you find a job, you can work using EAD. By the way, you need to get a new passport from Chinese Consulate.
