how many years does a 10-year-old kid have to wait to apply for

nullI know the adult has to wait for 5 years to apply for US citizenship after the greencard got approved, but how's the child? Is there an exception for kids who hold greencard? how many years does a 10-year-old kid have to wait to apply for US citizenship after he got greencard?
