Thanx. They lost my case in 4 months?

I went to my interview at NYC on 6-11--08 and I saw my case file (what a thick book!) in the AO's hands. You meant he lost it afterwards? Either he approved or denied, I just want to have an answer, will INFOPASS help? The USCIS service phone person advised that I should get an INFOPASS and go to the local NYC office. Does anybody have a similar case to mine? Thanks.
