he said if you entered US as H1/H4, (and used EAD) later, then you can leave USCIS to make the determination of your AOS status, but I entered as AOS, besides, my I-94 clearly stated "DAAOS", so, I guess that I have no choice but put "AOS" on EAD renewal form.
