If the primary uses the EAD would that effect the non-immigrant status(i.e. F-1) of the dependent?
-No. The F-1 holder can can continue his/her study until he/she finishes the study program, but can not renew the F-1 status for another program (i.g. from MS to PhD) if the F-1 holder filed his/her I-485.
