Is invitation to attend a conference acceptable for emergency AP

Efiled my second AP application on May (first was rejected due to the wrong address), and submitted the supported documents by mail (485 receipt and 2 photos). I have made an appointment with a local USCIS office (CA) on June 18 for the emergency AP, and will let you know my progress ASAP. My flight is July 7th and suspect if I can get it by then.

I believe that you need to submit the supported documents as well. I am attaching my list for your information, hope it might help.
1: 485 receipt;
2: 2 photos;
3: invitation letter for a conference;
4: H1B approval notice;
5: Copy of passport;
6: I140 approval notice;

BTW, what's your excuse for an emergency AP? Please share if you have any progress. Thanks!
