遞交I-485後原來的非移民身分可以再renew嗎？

My current visa is G-4 (work in an international organizaiton), which will be expired on this October. I submitted I-485 last year. Could I continue to renew my G-4 visa now? Or AOS (adjustment of status) does not allow me to renew it? Thanks.
