Don't worry about it. They will get the visa soon, normally about 2 weeks later. You can call consulate and leave your parents' cell phone# to them if your parents want to stay and wait in Chengdu. Chengdu is not very safe now, you'd better ask them to go home first. Nothing is more important than safety!
