別說我們冷漠，即使在焦急等待綠卡中的我們，並沒有忘記四川受災的同胞。我於上星期地震發生後的第二天向全公司員工發出了捐款倡議，並得到了員工委員會的支持，目前捐款任在繼續中。這是一個讓中國走向世界，讓世界認識中國的極好機會，也是讓中國人展示自己新的風貌的極好機會。

我個人建議將捐款直接匯往中國紅十字會（方法見後），而不是匯往大使館或領事館這樣的政府駐外機構，以免國外同事的疑問和誤解。

As you may know from the media that Sichuan, a southwestern province with the largest population over 100 million in China, encountered a disastrous earthquake on May 12, 2008. The casualties are 28,881 (dead) and 198,347 (injured) as of May 17, 2008.
