Pjiang 老師請confirm：Can I apply for Green card if I’m in China

My hu*****and plan to apply for Green card through NIW or EB1, however, I may go back to China for 2 years. Can my hu*****and help me apply the green card together with him at the same time? If I’m in China, can I still apply the AP or EAD? Thanks very much.
