如果你的工資是從G found ( government founding )來的,或大部分是從G 來的，可認為是permanent position. 如果支持你position的是project money ( they call it "soft money")那多數都不能算是permanent.但CIS現在接受相對長的project (3 年以上？）可算是permanent 的解釋。
