I think you need a lawyer and a good luck for an appeal, since your case is a bit weaker than mine (30 papers, 20 corresponding authored ones, over 100 citations... got RFE and denied by #375 at NSC).

Up to how much money you would like to spend, you could file an appeal?MTR to save your I-485 for a while (if the appeal get approved)... you could file a new NIW if you get more publications and citations to a different center (if this is applicable to you)..please be aware you can not file an appeal and new same case (NIW) to the same center who denied you.

Appeal (even if you are lucky to have it reopened as MTR) takes a long time. My appeal was received three weeks ago, nothing happened yet, I could not even find the receipt number in the database.
