IO called my lawyer

IO called in my lawyer's office 9 days ago. The lawyer missed the call since he was out of the office on that day. According to the secretary who pick up the phone, officer just need some general info before approve the case. The IO has never called back again since then. Is there anything I can do to move forward the case? IO didn't leave ID or name for us to call back her.
