The company background check usually includes:
your education and your working history (starting/ending dates and salary)
Check the resume you provided to the company to find out any mis-presentation

They can find out those data very detailed. They even pointed out a couple thousands off of my salary of my previous job ( many years ). But my employer did not mind this kind of deviation.
