how soon till approve after case been assign to officer?

NSC 485 case pending 10 months. Always pending on name check when called months ago.

Called this morning again and was told that case was in officer's hand now. Other words: case been assign to officer.

Base on peoples' experience, How soon do you think it'll be till finally approve.
