Pjiang help:About change job catogory after filing 200 days dur

I-485 pending more than 8 months after filing, I want change job based on EAD, current i am teaching in college (H1B), want to change to industrial job in the same field. Is it Ok? for i485 pending

In addition, my contract will expire on the end of July but already booked flight ticket(06/-07/2008) to China on Feb. Is any risk to use AP come back? They still check you employment status and period as entry?
