I have the same situation.

My wife was born in Hong Kong, and I was born in China.
I just sent out the cross-chargeability request letter to USCIS this morning after May 2008 bulletin is published.

Thanks again to PJiang's advice and direction.

I hope USCIS would handle our cross-chargeability request properly as we all expect.
