PJ teacher- I am laid off today--more question

2 more questions: My H1-B is in the process of renewing. So termination today will make my H1-B out of status tomorrow, right?

My atterney told me if I am not employed by a new company tomorrow, my status will be dangerous because I don't have an employment.

I print out your article to him today but he said there is no law saying that I can legally stay here if i am out of employment.

Please advise. Tks so much
