Does anyone know if PD could be transferred to new GC applicatio

Current application: EB2 perm, I140 approved, I485 pending over 180 days.

If I change to a new job which is not similar to my current one, then my current application might be rejected.

Then question is: Could I file a new GC application through another EB2 perm before my current one is rejected? Could the PD of current application be transferred to the new one so that I need not wait another several year for cut-off date? Thanks a lot.
