REF answer: 1) ref letters;

better have the letter from big shots who acclaim your achivements and influence in your field. If you can get letters from federal gov, that is good enough; 2) more citations including news reports, articlas in internet websites, chinese citations (better have them translated); 3) be a reviewer of some journal articles, research grants; 4) new publications; 5) evidence to be a PI and collaborator in some grants.
