Questions about bringing gifts to China

I plan to bring some high-value gifts (such as a couple of Rolex watches) to China. Is there any rules about the maximum amount (dollar-wise) I can bring before I have to tell the officers when I go through the customers? What can I find this kind of information? Thanks in advance for your help.
