J1 waiver is not the problem, and I have J1 waiver with me.

Before I transfered to MIT, I was H1B. The MIT ISO clearly knows about my situation, and she told me I should be fine under some kind of "Automatic Extension of Visas". The mit ISO, or the border officer, one of them must be wrong.
