who know? need your help to answer!

my I-20 will be expired in June and school asked me to renew my I-20 form. I have given what the school need for extending my time on I-20 form. But my 1-458 is in pending status(school does not know I have submitted this application). I am keeping this double status for safe, but if school extended my F1 status, is there an impact on my I-485 application? I just realized this issue, please help!
