H-1B renewal DIY question

I wish to prepare paperwork by myself to renew my H-1B (non-profit) without hiring a attorney. But I need to show my employee it is not against law for me as a employee to do so. Could anybody here provide with any link or article supporting my thought? Thanks in advance!!
