AP travel to Canada w/ Chniese possport

Hello, I always feel grateful to the people who response to question, especially to my own question in the place.

Now I need to travel to Toronto next week with AP Paroled, but just found out my Chinese Passport will be expired in less than 5 months 20 days exactly. I have two questions (again!! :-):

1. Do I need to apply for a visa to enter Canada?

2. Will my passport cause problems at the borders (Canada and US)?
