canadian PR card

Hi
I am going to landing at toronto on next month, so far, I am unclear on how to apply canadian PR card once I get there. does immigration officer at airport will process my paperwork and send it over to my canada address or I have to do it by myself once I arrive it to there. (the problem is I am still I-485 pending and need to come back)if I can do it at airport, then that would be great. anyone has experience, please share
