Thanks for your prompt reply.
The next H1B will be valid at the end of August. Since both H1B belong to academic, so I probablly will make a H1B transfer.

The fact is that I won't be able to get the second H1B approved before this May. If I have the offer from the second employer and submit the application for H1B transfer before May, do you think I will be still legal during the awaiting time?
