I have the same issue unfortunately. It has been a nightmare for years.
For now, I don't think there is any option. I am thinking we need keep talking to DOS or Chinese embassy.
China is changing. That is HOPEFULLY the only hope.

Sometimes I also think to submit a petition to Chinese Primer Wen Jiaobao. He sounds like a good leader.

Anyway, if we don't say, nobody cares.
As a Candian citizen, I can wait. This maybe the only way for now. ?????
