Help please! B visa question on behalf of a friend in China

My friend has a B visa stamp whose expiration date is 2/11/2008. He wonders if he will have any trouble of entering the U.S.A. using the almost expiring visa around 2/10/08 (or perhaps a few days earlier). He plans to stay here for about a week or two (i.e. after the visa expires).

Any comments and suggestions are really appreciated!!!
