請教小白兔老師，皮老師，射線老師 - New Passport needed in this case?

My Ld and I will apply H1 and H4 visa in China. Do I need a new passport
since I got married? My current passport is showing "Single".

Will the consulate care about the my current passport marriage status?
Anyone knows?

Can I apply H visa in hongkong even though LD in mainland china? I am H1 holder.
