Change Status from EAD to H1

I used EAD working for 1 year at a small company, right know my new company want to file H1B for me on my behalf, because they do not sure whether my I-485 is portibility. My question is if I applied H1B, whether it will affect my Green card pending? Thanks.
I am waiting on line.
