副申請人 name check pending 會影響主申請人的case批準嗎?

I called USCIS twice and was told that my case is with an officer. My background check is cleared (I am the primary applicant), but my hu*****and's is still pending. My PD is 02, 2005 and I was told that my case is with an officer more than 2 weeks ago. Not sure why it is still not approved. How long it normally took after a case is assigned to an IO?
