mail to FBI for NC status

NC pending for more than 2 years (9/2005). Wrote letters to FL and congressman, got mail reply from FBI last month saying NC is 'in process'. I planed to write letters to FBI. Is this helpful? Anyone can provide the information about whom to send the mail to and the address? Thanks so much!
