Xiaobaito, Pijiang and Radiology, help with EAD question please

My wife and I filed EAD application on 7/19/07and was received on 7/23/07. My wife got her card on 10/9/07, but is still pending. I went to local office and the local office told me that they could not issue interim card any more. I called USCIS and was told it was under security check and I had to wait. I got an ooffer already but Idon't know how long I get the card. Is there any way to get the EAD card quickly?
