Can 485 be transferred?

Can anyone help me to clarify this question: I have a 140 pending (EB1a). I want to file another I140 NIW together with I485. I am wondering if new petition has a negative effect on first 140? If the first one is proved (and the seond one is pending), can I ask INS to transfer I485 to the first appoved I140. Thank you very much
