1. I forgot when did I submit to DOS, maybe after decision from China's embassy.Check with others.
2. The statement is important. Mainly mention your current project that can not be ceased with your leave. A supporting letter from your boss mentioning that your project is important and he'll sponsor you H1 to extend your stay in this project.
