Just want to share my experience.
I went to infopass this morning just want to check my case status. I was very lucky today to meet this Lady officer. We start our conversation with the weather, then kids, then losing weight, etc. After 5-10 minutes, finally she started to ask my case. When she saw my case is still pending, she sent an email to the officer who in charge of my case and ask me to wait. After 40 minutes, she called the officer twice and finally got hold of her. Then she told me to wait a little bit more cause the officer is going to check my case. 10 minutes later, she received a call from the officer and asked me if I'd like to take oath this afternoon. I said Yes.
I took oath this afternoon and now a us citizen.
One more thing, the ceremony only have 7 people. The director told us that the reason for only 7 people is because the last couple of weeks they didn't schedule any interview, they are reviewing all appealled cases.
My point is: sometimes, infopass can help your case.
