I've viewed some previous post saying that I don't need a US Visa for re-entry if I'm able to come back to the US from Canada in 30 days, eventhough I'm in OPT. Is that true?

Could some experts or people with actual experience explain this a little bit? I believe there're a lot of people may encounter the same issue. Many Thanks.
