We live in Omaha. It is really easy to get the EAD from marriage-based application. Same day right after they take the I-485 form and EAD application form, they take you to take a photo and finger print of you, then about 5 or 10 minutes later they give you the EAD with your photo and finger print on. EAD is valid for one year.
