When u filed I-140 EB1, did you have sponsor to support your petition? If you, does not matter, otherwise, you'd better keep a job during all the I-485 pending. BTW, what's your qualification? Even you got I-140 EB1 approved, you shlould got very strong background, how do you convince INS" you are so outstanding when u submitted I-140, but why you can not find or keep a job in USA" if you can not anwser this question by yourself, how do u convince INS. You can also contact with your lawyer.
