If the complaint were put on this lawyer's record by the Bar Association, the potential clients could see this record and refuse to hire this lawyer. If this guy didn't listen to you, you could actually file the complaint. Another thing you can do is to communicate your frustration to your lawyer's boss. If your lawyer is just an associate in the firm, he must have a boss. Just my two cents. It's your call. Good luck.
